The Second Sanctum of the Wise
Abwayax requested affiliation on Monday 7th April 08, and was accepted on Thursday 10th of April 08.The Second Sanctum of the Wise, established in December 2007, is more than a forum. Yes, it is a forum, but that is only the most eminent part of it. The Sanctum also contains a wiki (a website that lets users edit every page as well as add new pages); a file sharing area that allows for video, music, pictures, and anything else; an IRC chatroom; a blogging area; and a "paint chat". The Sanctum's forum is set on no particular topic and encourages people of different backgrounds to join in. A handy list of inside jokes is even provided, should visitors seem confused about goings on, and an internet TV station is currently in the works. Sanctum aims to be what its members make it, and aside from administrative direction, the general userbase has as much say in the content of the website as does the staff. In more general terms, though, the Sanctum exists to "win", and by extension, to enable its members to win. Win what? Life? The Internet? Tetris? Maybe a million dollars... it's all possible at Sanctum (Well, except maybe the million dollars)!
