All About Jades-World
The most common question I'm asked when I send a link to someone is "what's it about?". Well, in short my name is Jade, and I just sent you a link titled "Jades-World"...What Jades-World Is All About
Jades-World was originally made in a web designing class for fun. In the beginning it was very childish and image based, a help site for Neopets. Then I moved onto a self centered approach and incorperated framesets and an "about me" section. Eventually I figured out framesets are OBNOXIOUS and some browsers can not display them properly. I remodelled the site with stuff about me and my friends, and wrote about everything I fancied. Eventually I put up my artwork, later adding poetry in 2002. The new purpose of the site was to keep friends and family up to date with my life and adventures.Today the website is used for pretty much the same thing. Additionally it's used to showcase my poetry and artwork, to entertain myself and others, and to waste otherwise valuable webspace with my stuff.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
The Website is updated monthly as a whole, but smaller sections or pages are updated as needed.All graphics are standard gif/jpg/swf/flash files and will load on any browser, though swf and flash may require plugins. I built the site with PHP, and I plan to redo it in the future!
