This has probably been a long time coming. For those who are here to read this, you will have noticed our usual 300 posts a day is more like 3 posts a day if you're lucky. I think the AC is pretty much dead. I had hope for it back in November but it appears that the struggle has just been too much...so I'm taking it into emergency surgery.

I plan to close AC down soon and relaunch it. In that period of time I will be changing:
 - The name
 - The design
 - The features
 - The hierarchy of members
 - The logo (probably only a little)
 - Probably stuff I havent listed here

1) The name will probably still contain AC in it. At this point I have a few names in mind, only one has AC in it though. If you have any suggestions for names they're MORE than welcome!

2) The design is going to totally change. It will still have its AC quirks and colour, but I'm doubting it will be called kinky style. I'm not sure if it will stay black or not, but I'm thinking it would be nice to go to a black, white, and gold design.

3) Features will change, like the arcade. I plan to keep the arcade but I want to make it bigger. I will also be putting in a lot of features, so you have some new toys to look forward to.

4) By hierarchy of members I mean how much power/say and access each member has. Currently, Admins have all the say and members have none. This is going to change completely. I want to come back more community oriented, where members have more say.

5) The logo will probably change a little, but I plan to keep the basics: 1 eye bigger than the other, grinning, and tongue out.


When we close we will probably close anywhere up to a week while I sort things out. When we come back I plan to get some advertising for us so that we can attract some members. I want you all to know that while I plan on doing this, I do want to keep the ACs feel and family. I love you all, and hopefully with the relaunch we can get some new members who will post like maniacs so we can too .

If any of you would like to donate to our advertising fund, I would greatly appreciate that. If we have donator privileges in the future site, your love will be carried over .


That's pretty much all I have to say at the moment. If you have name ideas post them!

I've decided to open the arcade for all members to play and save scores .




This is one part of many changes I plan that will hopefully make everyone happy!
But the changes will be slow to come, so please be patient lol.

Hey AC peeps.
As many of you know, I am attempting to start up an online business, and it is taking a lot of my time and energy.
As a result I am not giving the AC the attention it deserves and needs.
So the time has come where I needed to make a decision, and I have. I am stepping down from my role as an Administrator.
I love the AC and everyone on it and it needs more than I can currently give.
I will do my best to drop in regularly and see how everyone is.
The AC has given me some opportunities that I wouldnt have had otherwise, and for that I will be eternally grateful.
Each and everyone of you is special to me, and I ask that you all do your best to help Alundra and Hobo keep the AC alive and well.

We've long ago grown out of SMF, the current software used on the site. We're too social for the people who make addons for it to keep up with....so we're kinda stunted in our growth.

I'm looking around for new software. I have two in mind. One requires $150 and the other requires a new server. But both would be absolutely fabulous for this forum, and would give everyone lots of toys to play with.


So tell me: what sort of toys do you want to play with?

How many of you want to really customise your profile similar to the way you can on MySpace?

How many of you want profile comments?

How many of you would like to have an internal Twitter like thing (like a microblogging shoutbox) for the forum which you could link to Twitter and Facebook and Plurk and MySpace?

How many of you would like to be able to order boards and things in the way you want them? Or to have a control panel as a front page where you can put your own apps on it - things that would show you activity, PMs, etc?


What other things, real or imaginary do you think you would have fun with?
