Just because you don't know them does not mean you don't have to follow them . The Rules are here to provide the safe and happy environment intended.

Member Rules

Please do not endanger lives by engaging in any of the following:

• Providing/Distributing false advice, answers or guides that could lead to harm or death of reader(s).
• Providing/Distributing personal details (credit card numbers, social security numbers, passwords, pin numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses ect) that do not belong to you EVEN WITH PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER OF SAID DETAILS ...IP addresses are included in this category.
• Encouraging/Displaying any inappropriate or dangerous behaviour(s).
  
  • Drug use.
  • Underage sex, or any inappropriate sexual activity.
  • Breaking laws or rules.
  • Criminal activities

We do not allow the following on our forum:

• Unapproved advertisements.
• Pornographic, or explicit pictures/images/movies etc.
• Racial/anti-[insert Religion here] type messages
• Messages with sexual undertones, especially those directed at minors.
• Offensive or abusive messages, or threats. This is called FLAMING and WILL NOT be tolerated.
• Flaming of other websites, forums, communities, religions, minorities, countries etc.
• Harmful content, like shock sites or images, including flash animations to/that can spark off epileptic seizures.
• Illegal content such as warez, torrents or links to such things.
• Ghost/Duplicate accounts.

Some Notes and Pointers:
Reported posts, PM's to The Hobo, Haffina or Jade/Alundra are private. If you feel endangered or bullied these are the people to talk to, these are the ones who can help you. We will not tolerate abusive or offensive messages.

Please do not go smiley crazy or bump old topics (for the sake of bumping), we consider this spam and it annoys people.

All non English words (other than please/thankyou/you're welcome/yes/no) must be accompanied with an English translation

Donator Rules

A donator has given money to the forum by buying a subscription. In return the donator will get benefits as a thank you.

By donating you are agreeing to the following (buying a subscription=donating):

• Once you part with your money it goes into the forums hand and is no longer yours; we invite you to join the forum and become a member of our donators group and have a say as to how this money is spent, but ultimately it is up to Jade/Alundra, The Hobo, and Haffina (The administrators).
• Your view of the Donators Disco (Money discussion) lasts as long as your subscription.
• NO REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Your money may be used for (but is not limited to) the following things:
  
  • Paying outside and inside coders and production workers to help us advance and customize our forum.
  • Hosting and upkeep (including space).
  • Charity drives.
  • Advertising, promoting and expanding the forum.

Affiliate Rules

An affiliate is someone who has their link displayed on our board index, and displays ours in return. Affiliates must be approved before they will officially become an affiliate.

All affiliates must agree with the following:

• Your affiliation will be peaceful and beneficial to both website's.
• You are not asked to, nor are you required to affiliate with the other sites we are affiliated with.
• You will not argue with or tarnish any sites affiliated with us during the time of your affiliation.
• You have a sincere reason for wanting affiliation with this site.
• We may choose to cease affiliation with you at any time, with or without warning, and you may do the same for us; both parties must give a reason at the time of ceasing.
• A representative for your site will be present on our forum.
• We do not support post exchanges.

All new affiliate requests must meet the following:

• A representative of your site must be present and active on our forum.
• The representative must have been a member for 30 or more days, and had 14 days (in close proximity) of activity.
• The site does not require registration to browse.
• The site is on its own domain (no free hosts, or Geocities type of sites).
• The site does not contain or promote any porn, racial material, illegal materials, or any flame fights between users (if you have users).

You may lose your Affiliation, Subscription, or Staff Position, please read carefully!

Engaging in the following will result in the removal of privileges or positions:

• Bad behaviour; that is constantly breaking our rules, gives us a bad name. We won't tolerate that. That is not to say we will just boot you on the first offence, this is for continuous offences with no effort to change your behaviour. Unless you endanger members you should receive warnings first.
  
• Flaming The AC, its affiliates, or any of its members. We are a happy family, we don't like to play Family Feud.
• Abusing your privileges. Affiliates, Donators and Staff get additional privileges that normal members do not get.. Abusing these will result in their removal. Affiliates, Donators and Staff also have access to areas normal members do not have access to. Bringing those areas into public areas will result in removal of your access.
• Deleting your account, be it accidental or purposeful, approved, or rejected, forfeits all Affiliate, Donator and Staff rights.

I will post an introduction topic in the introductions lounge so people can get to know me.

If you do not agree to these terms we ask that you find a forum better suited to you.

• Jade/Alundra, The Hobo, and Haffina reserve the right to add, change, or remove any rule, at any given time with or without warning.
• Accounts unused for 300 days will be deleted unless they have reached or exceeded 1000 posts. The Administrators have the right to do this and if your account is in such danger you will receive emails notifying you.
• Any account who's emails bounce will be put on post moderation until they fix it, the forum inbox needs not be spammed by these!
• Please note your IP address is recorded, as it is on any other forum, and technically web page too. This will not be given out, or abused [with the exception of spam bots].
• We have cookies used to keep users logged in, they do not track you or send information from your computer.
• Deleted and banned accounts will have all their posts left in the boards and topics they were posted in. No topic or post will be deleted with an account, you cannot request for them to be removed, and by accepting this agreement you accept that all such requests will be denied. You are responsible for your own posts and actions even after deletion or banning. The forum (and forum staff) will IN NO WAY be taking hits for what you wrote.
• Moderators will be questioned on ALL edits and action will be taken against moderators who edited posts for the wrong reasons.
